Sunrise  3801 Via La Selva Palos Verdes Estates CA 90274  (310) 791-5078                                                                                                                                                           Sunrise Early Childhood Center Camp: Volunteers are needed for Summer Program. There is a new procedure for summer volunteer hours. Last year we had such an overwhelming response from students that we decided to organize the process differently to allow for all the organizations and all the students who wanted to volunteer at Sunrise. We will have two orientation meetings in the month of May or June depending on the site. Students must attend a MANDATORY orientation on either of the two dates offered in order to volunteer this summer (no exceptions). Once the meetings are over, we will have a sign-up day. Students may come by the school and sign up for hours. It will be first come, first serve. Students will be able to sign up for one day each week (3 - 5 hour shifts) during the summer. Our program begins the week of June 21 and ends August 20. If there are open shifts available aftera 7 day sign-up period, students may sign up for additional days during the week. I hope this will create a more equitable process and allow for more student volunteers. Space is limited. Contact Person: Shirley Resich 310-791-5078 ext. 201
