Costa Mesa Bark Park 890 Arlington Ave, Costa Mesa, CA, 92626. CMBP is a two-acre fenced off-leash park in the City of Costa Mesa. The park is administered by the Costa Mesa Bark Park Foundation, a California incorporated public benefit non-profit, comprised entirely of volunteers and wholly dependent financially on donations. The park has a separate area for small, elderly and disabled dogs. Downtown Dog Park W. Broadway and Pacific Ave, Long Beach, CA Lincoln Park at Broadway and Pacific is now home to the Downtown Dog Park. The park opened in September and has been serving the needs of downtown residents and their dogs and re-energizing a historic open space in our downtown civic center. K-9 Corner Dog Park 9th Street and Pacific Avenue, Long Beach, CA Residents in the north Pine Avenue area of Long Beach partnered with the Metropolitan Transit Authority and the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency to transform a vacant lot at 9th and Pacific Avenue into the “K-9 Corner Dog Park.” The park opened in September, 2009. It has a unique design that is environmentally friendly by using drought tolerant landscaping and generating 100% of its electricity on site with solar energy. The park has water fountains for humans and dogs, seating, evening lighting and separate areas for large and small dogs. Knoll Hill Off-Leash Dog Park (200 Knoll Drive) Front St and Knoll Dr San Pedro, CA, US 90731 Your pet will love to run and play off-leash at this fenced dog park near the freeway ramp on Front Street.

Leo Carrillo State Beach 35000 W. Pacific Coast Highway Malibu, CA 90265 General Information 818/706-1310 The park has 1.5 miles of beach for swimming, surfing, windsurfing, surf fishing and beachcombing. The beach also has tide pools, coastal caves and reefs for exploring. Giant sycamores shade the main campgrounds. The park also features back-country hiking. This state beach allows leashed dogs. The only restriction is that they are not allowed between towers two and three (the busiest part of the beach). Off-Leash Dog Beach Zone (Currently known as Rosie’s Dog Beach) 1 Argonne Ave Long Beach, CA, US 90803 562-570-3100 Long Beach is home to the only off-lease dog beach in L.A. County, CA. This 3-acre park is located at the waterfront between Roycroft and Argonne Avenues, a few blocks east of the Belmont Pier and Olympic pool. Ample parking is available along Ocean Boulevard. The cost is 25 cents for every 15 minutes. Recreation Dog Park 5201 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA The City’s first dog park opened at Recreation Park, 5201 E. 7th Street in 1996 in an area near the 18-hole golf course and north of the Fly Casting Pond. The two-acre site been expanded by over one-acre due to its popularity. The hours of operation are normally dawn to dusk, seven days a week. The park has watering stations, and benches and tables throughout. Bags and pooper scoops are available. The park is lighted at night. 2.0 acres Hours: 6am - 10pm every day.

Rosie’s Dog Beach (Formerly known as Off-Leash Dog Beach Zone) 1 Argonne Ave Long Beach, CA, US 90803 562-570-3100 The Dog Zone along Ocean Blvd between Roycroft and Argonne Avenues opened in 2003. This area is not fenced in and is not a dedicated “dog beach.” The Dog Zone has metered parking in the Bennett Avenue lot, trash cans and nearby restrooms. Some bags are provided in dispensers, but users are encouraged to bring their own bags from home. Bags and pooper scoops are available. The Dog Zone is in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. The Dog Zone may be closed occasionally due to a special event or poor beach conditions. Uptown Dog Park 4600 Long Beach Boulevard, Long Beach, CA on the West side of Scherer Park. Uptown Dog Park opened in November on the Long Beach Blvd. side of Scherer Park, 4600 Long Beach Blvd. The dog area is near picnic tables and a nearby parking lot. More dog parks may be planned as residents see the benefits of creating safe, fun areas for dogs to run and play in City parks. The Uptown Dog Park also provides separate areas for small and large dogs to play off leash. Veterans Parkway (Hermosa Valley Greebelt) Hermosa Beach, CA, US 90254 The Vetrans Parkway (Hermosa Valley Greebelt) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Hermosa Beach!
