As we are all too familiar with now.. the kids are home from school for a while. It is critical to make sure Fido's lawn bombs are cleaned up. Not only are infectious diseases transferred via dog waste but nobody wants little Johnie or Jane running through the house with dog poop on their shoes. If you are overwhelmed with work, homeschooling, laundry, cooking, well then one way that we can help is to clean up the dog poop for you! For basically the cost of a fast food meal we will come out and clean, disinfect, and haul your dog waste away for you. If you have COVID-19 concerns related to your dog check out our blog on COVID-19. Please contact us so we can help. Scott (310) 384-7321

Coronavirus in dogs... Yes, but not what you think.

Canine coronavirus disease, known as CCoV, is a highly infectious intestinal infection in dogs, usually puppies. Canine coronavirus is usually short-lived but may cause severe abdominal pain for a few days in infected dogs. The virus is from the Coronaviridae family. There are many types of coronavirus, each affecting different animal species, including humans.

Canine coronavirus (CCoV) is not the same virus as SARS-CoV-2 that causes the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). CCoV does not affect people. CCoV causes gastrointestinal problems in dogs, as opposed to respiratory disease.

How is canine coronavirus transmitted? Most cases of canine coronavirus are contracted by oral contact with infected fecal matter. A dog may also become infected by eating from contaminated food bowls or by direct contact with an infected dog. It's more important than ever to the health of your pets and family to keep dog fecal matter cleaned up as quickly as possible. Call us we can help take the burden off of you!

Hello All,

It always fun to meet new clients. We are so thrilled at Doodie Fresh to be able to help keep your yard, family, pets, clean and healthy. It doesn't sound like the greatest job in the world to clean up dog poop. However, for someone like me, I like things clean and organized. So, I find joy in cleaning up areas then washing them down and disinfecting the area. It's refreshing for me. Dog poop removal is extremely important for you and your pet, and we are more than happy to help. It's funny how within a couple months of keeping an area clean from dog poop and urine how the grass and vegetation returns. With the Coronavirus on everyone's mind, it reminds us how important it is to keep our homes and living areas clean and disinfected. Give us a call today! Scott (310) 384-7321

Hi, I'm Scott, husband and father of four children, a Labradane named Toby, a Chug (Chihuaha & Pug mix) named Zoey, and a Puggle (Beagle & Pug mix) named Bixby, and owner of Doodie Fresh, LLC.

I started this blog to inform pet owners about dog waste and the effects on our environment and  community.

    Hope you enjoy the posts.
